Youve just stumbled upon my website!

Well, maybe you just stumbled upon it! Or you may be someone who knows me coming to have a look and laugh at my pathetic attempt at building a website. Either way, my name is Damien Watts, but everyone calls me Wattsy. Im 22 years old and come from Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. My main interest in life is cars, and in particulaer, the mighty Holden Torana!!!!! To the right you will see a pic of my current pride and joy, my 1977 LX Torana.

In this site you will find a few more pics of my LX, as well as a few specs for those interested and also a few pics of a few other cars, shows and events from around this area. Just use the links at the top of this page under the heading to check out the other pages on this site where all this can be found. So if you like the good ol' Aussie V8s, enjoy!!
Updates/Coming up!!:
This site was built in a few hours of spare time on Friday, 4th of May, 2001. I will try to update it reguarly. As I attend a fair few show n shines and other car related events, I will try to post photos and results of each event.
Unfortunately, the pictures from some of the events I have attended this calendar year are a bit muddled up due to the way they were scanned by my mate (i havent got a scanner yet!), but I will try to sort it out in the near future.

NEW UPDATE!! CRUZETIME 2001!! Went off on May 20th 2001 - to see the pics go to photo pages 2 and 3!!

# Cruising the Coast!! Will have pics and a bit of a write up about a typical Saturday night on the Gold Coast, hanging out in the Broadwater Carpark and on the Esplanade!!

# Lismore Cruise!! Same as above, a few pics and that about a typical Thursday night in Lismore!

#Personal Pictures of my good mate, Warren Durrants Tiger Gold LH Torana --- as featured in STREET HEAT MAGAZINE, May/June 2001!!
Here it is - the ol' girl.

So What Happens in Byron Bay?
Suprisingly to some, not everyone in Byron Bay is a dreadlocked, dole bludging hippie, professional protester or surfie! The modified car scene in Byron Bay is quite big, with quite a few revheads living and working here. A few pictures and specs of the cars from Byron Bay will be posted in the photo page when I get the photos.
Unfortunately, due to the amount of tourists in Byron and the ancient town infrastructure, cruising in the Bay isnt an option, so most of us head up to the Gold Coast on some Saturday nights and to nearby Lismore on Thursday nights. 'Coast Cruises' are the best, with many cars meeting up at a pre determined meeting place and all cruising up to the Gold Coast (about an hour and a half drive) together and having some fun along the way!!
To see whats happening on the Coast:

MIRc Chat
I recommend MIRc Austnet #cars or #bwcc chat channels for those interested in having a chat about cars and the goings on at the Gold Coast...
